Physical Therapist - Acute Care

Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts (08:00 - 18:00), Sunday through Wednesday. A weekend day will be required.

Job Description

We are seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care setting. The ideal candidate should possess a strong ability to evaluate and treat patients, manage moderate to maximum assistive patients, and confidently handle medical diagnoses. Experience in ventilator management is preferred, along with the ability to pivot easily and pick up additional evaluations throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations and treatment plans for patients in an acute care environment.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment to ensure optimal patient care.
• Manage patient caseload effectively and efficiently.
• Perform necessary documentation and charting using Cerner.
• Implement interventions for patients with various medical diagnoses.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Physical Therapist license in the state of Arizona.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card required upon application submission.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Ability to work with ventilated patients and manage various diagnoses.
