Registered Nurse Float - 12-Hour Night Shifts

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15, scheduled for 36 hours per week after the first week of orientation. Please note there is no guarantee of hours.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse Float will be responsible for providing care across various medical and surgical units, utilizing skills and experience to address patient needs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Float between the Medical Unit, Laulima Unit, and occasionally the Cardiovascular Unit.
• Monitor and manage patient care effectively across different departments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Participate in patient education and care plan development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-10 years of nursing experience required.
• Active Hawaii RN license required by the start of the assignment.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred, along with PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, and ENPC.
