Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg/Telemetry

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med/Surg/Telemetry position. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive skills in medical-surgical nursing and telemetry care, with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical and telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interprofessional teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and post-operative care.
• Float to other areas within the hospital as necessary.

Schedule

This position requires a rotating schedule with shifts of 3x12 hours either at night (19:00 - 07:00) or during the day (07:00 - 19:00). Candidates must be available to work every other holiday.

Location

Position available in Pennsylvania.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active and valid RN license in Pennsylvania or Compact License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Med/Surg or telemetry setting.
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred.
• Willingness to accommodate straight night shifts.
