Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide critical cardiopulmonary services. This position requires adherence to established protocols and departmental policies to deliver prompt diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.
• Maintain airways and manage ventilators.
• Perform arterial line insertions and intubations.
• Conduct pulmonary function studies and cardiac/pulmonary stress tests.
• Execute blood gas analysis.

Schedule

This position operates on a night shift basis, specifically from 7 PM to 7 AM, three days a week without block scheduling.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Active Florida RRT or CRT license.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP.
• Experience with neonates and pediatric patients is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with Medhost charting system required.
