Night Shift (11 PM - 7:30 AM) - Includes every other weekend and every other holiday.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is an active member of the healthcare team, providing direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians. The RN is responsible for maintaining a safe therapeutic milieu and works collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary treatment team to develop, implement, and document individual treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care.
• Maintain a safe therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Document patient goals and interventions based on strengths and psychiatric needs.
• Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed.
• Take charge as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• State of Massachusetts RN license required; BSN preferred.
• One year of inpatient psychiatric experience required.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in restraint reduction, de-escalation, and crisis intervention preferred.
