Registered Nurse (RN) - Nights

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for utilizing the nursing process to provide safe, age-appropriate, direct, and indirect patient care while practicing within the scope of practice of the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Additionally, the RN is responsible for data entry for billing purposes and logging of case data into the digital archive of the department. This role will also support the staffing needs of the Progressive Care Unit and ED Boarders, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver safe patient care.
• Perform data entry for billing and case management.
• Support staffing needs in Progressive Care Unit and emergency department as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN Licensure required.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS required.
• ACLS certification required for GSR Interventional Care.
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required for moderate complexity testing per CAP requirements.
• Recent acute care experience in emergency department, progressive care unit, or intensive care unit is required.

Schedule

This position requires a night shift from 1900 to 0730, with occasional weekends as necessary.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
