Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a critical care position. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a high-acuity setting, demonstrating proficiency in advanced patient assessment and management techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
• Administer and titrate cardiac drips and vasoactive medications.
• Utilize advanced management techniques including arterial line management and central line care.
• Oversee patients on BiPAP/CPAP therapy and provide care for ventilated patients.
• Perform assessments and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs).
• Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and proper use of PPE.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience.
• Current New York RN license in hand.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
• Familiarity with AllScripts EMR system preferred.
