Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), supporting patients undergoing treatments such as CABG, TAVR, STEMI, and carotids.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions in the CVICU.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as Impella, IABP, and CRRT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR (Cerner).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1.5 years of CVICU experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required; CCRN preferred.
• Associate Nursing Degree required.
