CT Tech Night Shift Position

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Friday to Sunday.

Job Description

The CT Tech will be responsible for performing CT imaging procedures on a diverse patient population, including neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety are maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans with and without contrast, ensuring quality imaging and safety protocols are followed.
• Administer contrast media and participate in special procedures such as biopsies and aspirations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting using the Epic system.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding of the process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Tech.
• Current ARRT CT and BLS certification required.
• Experience in NICU, PICU, and Adult ICU preferred, especially for night shift placements.
• Proficiency in PACS and prior experience with contrast administration is essential.
• Candidates must be flexible and able to meet compliance requirements by specified deadlines.
