Schedule

Rotating shifts: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) & Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30). Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in CVICU, providing critical care to patients recovering from cardiac surgery or dealing with severe cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the CVICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and ECG rhythms.
• Administer medications and intravenous treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in CVICU prior to travel assignments.
• Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license required.
• Must have current American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Travel experience in CVICU is preferable.
