This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Schedule is Monday to Friday with shifts as follows:

• 2 shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• 2 shifts from 10:45 AM to 7:15 PM

Job Description

As a Surgical Technologist specializing in Neuro and Thoracic procedures, you will be responsible for providing quality surgical care within our main surgical unit. You will assist in various surgical procedures, ensuring that the operating room is properly prepared and organized.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during operations by handing instruments and materials.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field and surgical equipment.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure successful surgical outcomes.
• Monitor patient vitals and conditions during procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Neuro and Thoracic specialties.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records is preferred.
