Registered Nurse - Level 1 Trauma

Schedule

This position requires a 10-hour day shift, working 10 days in a 4-day cycle, from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM. This schedule is firm, and no alternate scheduling options are available. Additional responsibilities include working on call, holidays, and weekends. Please note that there is no block scheduling.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality trauma care in a Level 1 trauma environment. The ideal candidate will be expected to demonstrate strong nursing skills and experience in a fast-paced setting, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Document patient care and progress accurately in medical records

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of strong overall Level 1 trauma experience
• Must be listed in work history and validated through skills checklist
• Valid nursing license required
