Schedule

3 12-hour shifts per week; 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule. Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg Trauma team. The successful candidate will provide attentive care to patients dealing with trauma and general surgical needs, ensuring that each patient receives the highest standard of care and support.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the Med/Surg Trauma unit.
• Prioritize patient care and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform tasks such as starting IVs, basic wound care, and maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members and actively involve patients and families in the care plan.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment and technology, including IV Pumps, Telemetry, and EKG machines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Previous Med/Surg experience is preferred.
