Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - 13 Week Contract

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team in a dynamic, teaching hospital environment. You will work alongside a team of experienced professionals, covering a variety of clinical settings including NICU, PICU, and adult acute care.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients with varying needs, including neonates, pediatrics, and adults.
• Administer treatments and therapy in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3+ years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a tertiary, teaching hospital or level 1 trauma environment.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) for NICU.
• Experience in acute care pediatrics and emergency department settings is required.
