Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

This is a 13-week contract position, with shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. This position involves replacing a permanent staff member who is set to retire. The Respiratory Therapist will provide care to patients across various departments, including NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, emergency department, and adult critical care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care to patients of all ages.
• Utilize advanced ventilatory management equipment.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
• Participate in call requirements with a two-hour response time for the oncoming shift.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a tertiary care, teaching hospital.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• NRP certification required for NICU.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
