Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a challenging contract position. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and experience in a high-pressure emergency department setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Conduct patient assessments and support treatment plans in a fast-paced environment.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage patient care effectively.
• Monitor and document patient progress and communicate findings to appropriate personnel.

Schedule

This position involves a Night 3x12-hour shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a requirement of 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6 weeks. Holiday availability and no call are expected.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department.
• Current RN license required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Preferably CPI, PALS, and TNCC certified.
• Epic experience is mandatory.
• Charge RN and Level 2 Trauma experience preferred.
