Schedule

Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00). Minimum of every other weekend and holidays are required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in an emergency setting, demonstrating strong critical thinking and clinical skills. This role requires a commitment to excellence and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages.
• Perform assessments and triage patients efficiently.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation.
• Support family members and provide education as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience required; 3 years preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all via AHA).
• CPI/CIC preferred; travelers can obtain CPI if they stay longer than 3 months.
• Must have a valid state nursing license or be actively pending.
