Registered Nurse - BMT Outpatient Infusion

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our fast-paced and growing team in the BMT Outpatient Infusion department. This position will provide clinical care, coordination, and patient education to the Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy patient population. The nurse will administer chemotherapy, blood products, donor leukocytes, and CAR-T product infusions, while demonstrating strong communication skills and flexibility as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care and patient education to the Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy patient population.
• Administer chemotherapy, blood products, donor leukocytes, and CAR-T product infusions.
• Coordinate care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize strong communication skills to educate patients and their families.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• RN license (New York only)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience
• Hematology/Oncology experience required
• ONC certification required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Telemetry experience preferred

Schedule

Full-time position available, with 36 or 40 hours per week primarily during weekdays, including weekend and holiday rotation as per unit policy. Options for 4, 10-hour shifts or 3, 9-hour shifts available.
