Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will develop and implement comprehensive nursing care for patients by conducting assessments, nursing diagnoses, and formulating patient care plans. The RN will collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain standards of professional nursing practice in a clinical setting and provide care across various patient populations including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct head-to-toe assessments and reassess as per policy, addressing age-specific needs.
• Implement age-appropriate care and pain management techniques.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to establish and modify the plan of care.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding care and pain management.
• Document patient care accurately and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Participate in staff education, development, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of a Registered Nurse program with a current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Exposure to diseases, hazardous chemicals, and sharp objects may occur.

Physical Requirements

Requires skills for dexterity, lifting, transferring patients, and the ability to remain standing or walking for extended periods.
