Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Schedule

3-12 hour night shifts, 36 hours per week; 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive care for adult patients in an inpatient setting, including those in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The position requires handling various respiratory treatments and assisting with airway management using advanced equipment and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Administer aerosol treatments and airway clearance techniques.
• Manage ventilator settings and adjustments, including NIPPV and HFNC support.
• Perform EKGs and other respiratory care assessments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for patient care.
• Assist in intubation procedures when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Must hold a valid Respiratory Care License (RRT preferred; CRT accepted if licensed in WV or another state prior to July 1, 2022).
• Experience in 300+ bed facilities and Level 1 Trauma centers.
• Clinical expertise in adult general patient care in intensive care settings.
