Job Description

This position is for a Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery within a busy unit. The RN will work in a collaborative environment primarily caring for both low risk and high risk obstetric patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform labor and delivery procedures including cerclages, versions, c-sections, and vaginal deliveries.
• Provide care for patients experiencing fetal demise and perform D&Cs as needed.
• Administer epidurals and circulate during c-sections.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, midwives, and doulas to ensure exceptional patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Must have NRP, BLS, ACLS certifications, and EFM-C or AWHONN certification.
• Comfortable with unblocked or unepiduralized patients.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills are essential.
