4x10.0 shift schedule, rotating, floating, with holidays, weekends, and on-call/callback duties as needed.

Job Description

Join a fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department at a level 1 trauma center. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care for both inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the pre-procedural preparation and post-procedural recovery and overnight observation of patients undergoing diagnostic imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre/post-procedural care for interventional radiology patients.
• Monitor patients boarding overnight in preparation for or following procedures.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to assess and manage patient needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of Registered Nursing experience, specifically in interventional radiology.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Must have a valid New York RN license.
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification is required.
• ACLS (American Heart Association) certification is required.
