Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - Full Time Nights

Full Time Nights (5x7.5s), every other weekend and holiday required.

Job Description

We are seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide essential care to our residents under the direction of licensed nursing personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing both direct and indirect resident care, ensuring adherence to care plans and policies in a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as per care plans, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and elimination needs.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment by promptly answering call lights and alarms, ensuring proper equipment safety, and fulfilling behavior management protocols.
• Support residents' nutritional needs by assisting with meal delivery and preparation, honoring preferences, and ensuring proper feeding techniques.
• Facilitate rehabilitative needs through restorative care like range of motion exercises, ambulation, and proper body positioning.
• Report changes in residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial status to the Charge Nurse in a timely manner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• NYS Nursing Assistant Certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or as a Nurse Assistant.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
