Shift: 18:45 - 07:15

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weekend Hours: Every other weekend/as needed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide quality healthcare in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The RN will be responsible for patient care, medication administration, and ensuring high standards of care are maintained. This position will require the nurse to float to other Med/Surg units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients.
• Administer medications and perform patient assessments.
• Coordinate patient care with healthcare team members.
• Maintain patient records and documentation using EHR (Meditech).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license to practice in Tennessee.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required prior to start.
• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg experience preferred.
• Must have IV insertion skills.
