Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in labor and delivery settings, providing high-quality care to expectant mothers and their newborns. This role demands a team player with a positive attitude, capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and perform required assessments.
• Assist in C-sections and other common procedures.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications are required.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery (2+ years) is essential.
• Competency in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) and C-Section circulation is required.
• Internal monitor placement competency is preferred.
• Experience in Level IV high-volume unit is a plus.
