Radiation Therapist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, with a shift from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including a half-hour lunch break.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Radiation Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience to provide high-quality patient care and treatment. The position involves working with Varian TrueBeams and requires adherence to strict protocols.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation treatments to patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of Radiation Therapist experience within the last 12 months.
• Current active ARRT certification.
• Life support certifications through AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• No issues on state license to practice.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
