Radiation Therapist

Schedule

Monday to Friday with varying scheduled days; 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including a half-hour lunch break.

Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position for a Radiation Therapist with a focus on providing quality care utilizing Varian TrueBeams equipment. The role involves performing imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards in radiation therapy.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatments.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create optimal patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to any changes in their condition.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of Radiation Therapist experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Active ARRT certification from an approved vendor.
• Life support certifications from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• A valid driver's license to verify residency.
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
