Neuro ICU/IMCU Registered Nurse

This is a night shift position following a 12x3 rotating schedule.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Neuro ICU/IMCU Registered Nurse will provide critical care for patients with neurological conditions, operating in both the ICU and stepdown units. Nurses are expected to float between the two units as necessary, maintaining a high standard of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Neuro ICU and IMCU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing timely interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Neuro ICU or similar specialty.
• Active RN license with Nursys verification.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Work history must show no gaps greater than 60 days.
• References and skills checklist must be provided.
