Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) with on-call requirements, including 6 evenings and one weekend over a 6-week period.

Job Description

The Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse plays a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. The nurse will work in a fast-paced environment that includes diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Accurate monitoring and maintenance of sterile environments.
• Perform EKG lead placement and prep access sites.
• Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and manage critical situations.
• Circulate and scrub for various cardiac procedures, ensuring high standards of care.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as Fluoroscopy and Siemens for procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of nursing experience in a cardiac cath lab setting required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with cardiac procedures such as Cardiac Stent Placement, IABP Placement/Removal, and PCI is required.
• Familiarity with EPIC and McKesson documentation systems preferred.
