Schedule

Day shift, 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:00). On-call required, typically 6 evenings and one weekend per 6 weeks with a 30-minute response time.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Lab Travel Nurse to join our team. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.

Responsibilities

• Accurate monitoring and setup of equipment for procedures.
• Perform EKG lead placements and prepare access sites.
• Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and respond appropriately.
• Act as the room circulator and scrub to maintain a sterile field.
• Utilize vascular closure systems such as Perclose and StarClose.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Catheterization Labs (Diagnostic and Interventional).
• Active Compact License.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCIS.
• Experience with Pyxis, EPIC, and McKesson preferred.
