Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 19:00 - 07:30, with every other weekend and holiday requirements.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering comprehensive and quality patient care to individuals of all ages utilizing the nursing process. The telemetry RN will have specific educational requirements and competencies related to caring for cardiac patients and is expected to float to Med-Surg and remote Tele as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to patients requiring telemetry.
• Monitor vital signs and manage cardiac patients.
• Utilize electronic medical records (Cerner) for documentation.
• Work collaboratively within a team and float between units as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2+ years of Telemetry or Stepdown nursing experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
