Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend and holiday required.

Job Description

The Telemetry Registered Nurse will deliver comprehensive and quality patient care to patients of all ages using the nursing process, with a focus on cardiac care. This role includes floating to Med Surg and remote Tele units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, monitoring cardiac patients and interpreting telemetry data.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2+ years of Telemetry/Stepdown experience required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.

Patient Ratio

The patient ratio is approximately 1:5 to 1:6.
