Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join a rural Texas hospital. The ideal candidate will provide care for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics in various settings. Strong clinical skills and competencies in respiratory care are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy and manage ventilators for patients of all ages
• Evaluate patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care
• Provide education to patients and families regarding respiratory health
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatments

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP or STABLE certifications
• Experience in neonatal and geriatric patient care
• Valid state respiratory therapy licensure
