Respiratory Therapist - Day Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a rural Texas hospital. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to care for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics, ensuring high-quality respiratory care across multiple age groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients of all ages, including assessment and treatment.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of interventions and outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and equipment usage.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in respiratory care practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP or STABLE) certifications are mandatory.
• Experience in providing care to a varied patient demographic, from neonatal to geriatric populations.
• State licensure as a respiratory therapist is required.

Schedule

This position offers a day shift schedule from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., allowing for a balanced work-life routine.
