Travel ICU Registered Nurse

Nights, 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM, with floating required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide total patient care in a busy ICU setting. The nurse will manage patients on ventilators and titratable drips, while also maintaining patient hygiene. Floating to the Emergency Room and Medical Surgical units will be required as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to ICU patients, including those on ventilators and titratable drips.
• Assist with patient hygiene and basic care tasks.
• Float to the Emergency Room and Medical Surgical units as needed, helping with patient care tasks such as answering call lights, passing medications, and starting IVs.
• Take full assignments in the Medical Surgical unit, potentially caring for up to 6 patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience in the Emergency Room and Medical Surgical settings preferred.
• TNCC certification is preferred.
• Experience with ventilators, titratable drips, and medication mixing is a plus.
