Travel ICU Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The position requires night shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM, with floating to ER and MedSurg departments as needed.

Job Description

The Travel ICU Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to critically ill patients. Responsibilities include managing ventilators, administering titratable drips, and ensuring patient hygiene. This role requires nurses to adapt to different departments, assisting in the Emergency Room and MedSurg units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver total care for ICU patients.
• Manage ventilators and titratable medication drips.
• Assist in the Emergency Room without taking patient assignments.
• Provide support in MedSurg assignments as required.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records using MedHost EMR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience in ER and MedSurg is preferred.
• TNCC certification is a plus.
• Ability to work with ventilators, titratable drips, and mixed medications is preferred.
