Ultrasound Sonographer

Job Description

The Ultrasound Sonographer utilizes specialized equipment to emit high-frequency sound waves, creating internal images (sonograms or ultrasounds) of a patient's body for medical diagnosis and treatment. In this role, the sonographer will work closely with physicians to assess and identify various medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations on patients as per physician's orders.
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques to create diagnostic images.
• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate ultrasound results for possible medical conditions.
• Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Assist in the development of care plans based on ultrasound findings.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sonographer - Required
• ARDMS Certification - Required

Schedule

This position is scheduled from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call duties during holidays and occasional calls required.

Assignment Duration

This is a contract position.
