Dialysis Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This position requires working 3x12 hour night shifts from 20:00 to 08:30.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. The RN will also support and troubleshoot dialysis machines in our ICU setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments to patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to alarms and alerts on dialysis machines.
• Collaborate with ICU nurses and interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures and care.
• Document patient care activities in the electronic health record (Epic).
• Support the training and orientation of new dialysis staff as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in dialysis nursing.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience in a Level II trauma center is preferred.
• Ability to cannulate AV fistulas and grafts.
• Familiarity with Tablo dialysis machines and Baxter Claria Homechoice for PD is preferred.
