Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Evening Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Evening shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM or 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM, working every third weekend and possible holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to perform laboratory tests and analyses to help diagnose medical conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in the laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests on biological specimens.
• Analyze test results and prepare reports for physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with established procedures and safety standards.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and perform regular maintenance and calibration.
• Assist in the training of new laboratory staff as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ASCP MLT certification required.
• Strong understanding of laboratory practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
