Schedule

Rotating Night and Day shifts: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30; 19:00 - 07:30) covering a typical shift schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in our acute care setting. The nurse will be responsible for managing a diverse patient population while maintaining high standards of clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, promptly identifying changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Must have 18 months permanent experience in specialty prior to travel.
• Valid Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Completion of an ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment during orientation is mandatory.
