Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Med/Surg Telemetry Nurse to join our team for the night shift. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and a permanent Ohio nursing license. This role will involve providing high-quality patient care to individuals in a telemetry unit and recognizing ECG rhythms as part of the nursing duties.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs.
• Provide patient education and emotional support.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.
• Conduct ECG rhythm recognition tests and ensure patient safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• MUST HAVE PERMANENT Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand.
• Current American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start.
• Reference from a supervisor or director in the specialty required.
