Job Description

The Med Surg RN will provide comprehensive care to patients on the medical-surgical unit. The role involves managing a patient load of 1:5 and may include caring for pediatric patients as needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work within a team, supporting the healthcare team's mission to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs.
• Provide care and management for feeding tubes and IV therapy.
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Assist in patient diagnostics and treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Support pediatric patients when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 2 years of Med Surg RN experience.
• Telemetry experience is preferred but not required.
• BLS and NIH certifications are required; ACLS and CPI are preferred.
• Must possess an active RN license valid in Oklahoma or compact state.
• Experience in managing pediatric patients is preferred.
