Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

This is a night shift position from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for developing and implementing total nursing care for patients through thorough assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care planning. This role requires leadership and collaboration with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel, maintaining high standards for professional nursing practice in a clinical setting across a diverse patient population, including infants, children, adults, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and re-assessments of patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans.
• Provide age-specific care and education, addressing all physiological and psychosocial needs.
• Utilize pain management techniques and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
• Administer medications safely and accurately while adhering to the five medication rights.
• Document patient care and progress accurately and in compliance with current standards.
• Involve patients and families in care planning and educational initiatives.
• Participate in the orientation and training of new staff and offer support as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program with a current Oklahoma RN license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
