Job Description

The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of invasive cardiac and vascular procedures. This role requires independence as the candidate may be the sole technician in a smaller facility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cardiac catheterizations, PCI, fistograms, vascular angiograms, PTA, and PPM implants.
• Utilize GE Mac Lab and Cerner for charting and documentation.
• Scrub and circulate for procedures using Philips X-ray equipment.
• Manage patient care, monitoring, and related activities during procedures.
• Provide support during emergencies and procedures as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT (R) or RCIS certification and a valid NJ state license required prior to start.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 2-3 years of current experience in Cath Lab with neuro experience preferred.
• Experience with cardiac and vascular procedures, PPM implants, IVUS, PFR, and IFR.
• Previous charge experience and familiarity with scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring required.
