Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - Full Time Evenings

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care to our residents in a Long-Term Care setting. This role is critical in assisting residents with their daily activities and ensuring their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Document resident care and report changes in their physical, emotional, and psychosocial status to the Charge Nurse.
• Ensure a safe environment by promptly responding to call lights and alarms, and maintaining cleanliness within the unit.
• Support residents’ nutritional needs, including meal delivery and assistance with feeding.
• Provide rehabilitative care, including ambulation, transfers, and the use of assistive devices as per the care plan.

Schedule

This position requires a full-time commitment with evening shifts, including weekends. The schedule consists of five 7.5-hour shifts per week.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• NYS Nursing Assistant Certification is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or RQI certs only).
• A minimum of one (1) year of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
