Registered Nurse (RN) - Long-Term Care

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; must be willing to work 36 or 48 hours per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Long-Term Care team. The ideal candidate will take charge of nursing duties, administer prescribed medication, and provide high-quality care to residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during treatments and examinations.
• Monitor residents' conditions, document significant changes, and communicate with supervisors and families.
• Execute and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Assign duties to nursing staff and coordinate services to ensure resident needs are met.
• Participate in training and evaluation of nursing personnel.
• Evaluate nursing activities to ensure effective resident care and service efficiency.
• Document admissions, discharges, transfers, and incident reports accurately.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to all regulations regarding Resident Rights.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing Facility, or Medical/Surgical setting.
• Current BLS certification from AHA.
• Active Michigan RN License.
• Completion of at least one successful travel assignment as an RN.
• COVID vaccination strongly preferred; if declining, must agree to wear a mask.
