Schedule (Part-time)

Shift: Saturday 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM & Sunday 7 AM - 4 PM

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Computed Tomography Technologist who will use computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. The CT technologist is responsible for interpreting physician's scanning instructions, administering contrast materials, preparing and operating CT scan equipment, and positioning patients to capture the necessary images while adhering to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Produce cross-sectional images using CT scanners
• Interpret physician scanning instructions accurately
• Administer contrast materials as required
• Prepare and operate CT scan equipment
• Position patients for appropriate imaging
• Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High School graduate and graduate of an A.M.A. approved school for radiologic technology
• Advanced training in CT, MRI, and Interventional Radiography
• Licensed in NYS as a radiologic technologist
• Advanced certification as a CT technologist
• Current ARRT certification
• Certified by NYS for contrast injections
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT technologist
