Physical Therapist - Inpatient/Acute Care

Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)

Job Description

Join our team as a Physical Therapist in an inpatient/acute care setting. You will provide therapy services in a trauma level 3 hospital, addressing a wide range of diagnoses including orthopedic, neurological, oncology, and post-operative care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Collaborate closely with Occupational Therapists and Speech Therapists.
• Administer therapy interventions tailored to patient needs.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Provide patient and family education regarding care plans and exercises.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Texas Physical Therapist license (pending acceptance) is required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a related therapy setting.
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
