Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse

This position offers a day shift schedule, specifically 8-hour shifts from 07:30 to 16:00.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and be proficient in scrub and circulate roles within an interventional radiology setting. This facility accepts first-time travelers and locals for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care during interventional radiology and cardiology procedures.
• Participate in a weekly rotation for procedure coverage, ensuring continuous support for emergent and urgent cases.
• Engage in 24/7 call coverage for STEMI and other emergent procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures while performing nursing duties.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or related fields.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (NC or compact license accepted).
• ACLS and BCLS certifications are required.
• Experience in scrub roles as well as circulating in procedures; familiarity with STEMI calls is a plus.
• Preferred skills: IV start, triage, PA lines, and conscious sedation experience.
