Job Description

The Progressive Care Unit provides specialized care to patients requiring close monitoring and treatment for neuro and trauma-related conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform neuro and spinal checks, C-Collar placements, and TLSO brace applications.
• Administer chest tubes, PCA pumps, IV infusions, and manage lumbar drains.
• Conduct feeding tube placements and blood transfusions as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Experience in neuro and trauma care is essential.
